Warning: this post will be full of spoilers. You have been warned.
A week ago I finished watching the first season of Jericho, a north-american produced TV series with a post-apocalyptic setting.
What can I say about this one… it was fun to watch, but I expected a lot more…
I played and finished Fallout. I played Fallout 2. I played Fallout 2 again. And again, and finished it. And last year I played it again with a patch that fixes most of the problems that the original game had. And finished the game again, of course. So, my expectations for a series with an almost similar setting, were high. It was good in the beginning, but then…
At first, the series was pretty exciting. All the apocalyptic stuff, good characters, lots of enigmas… but then the series stalled. It was too slow. And the whole futuristic wasteland plot was defaulted to… terrorists… bleh. It wasn’t the job of koreans, chinese, russians or mafia (?), just damn terrorists. No third world war.
But, oh well, it’s just seven episodes more, hope the civil war between Jericho and the other town (was it other town, or another individual group?) will be filling my expectations.
