Crash fix for Master League in Pro Evolution Soccer 2010

As bizarre as this fix is (and let’s not talk about why is this game in my blog)…

Preconditions

Use Windows 7.
Use a custom patch like Lumbe’s.
Start a Master League, and play a match – the game will CTD when loading the players/formation

Fix

As simple as enabling Compatibility Mode for Windows XP SP3.

It seems that there is some really strange quirks with the unnamed_11.bin file in the dt04.img folder. Why? I don’t know. But enabling CM seems to do the job. I also did read that this fix does not work in Windows Vista. But who the hell uses Windows Vista, anyways.

I tried your fix, but it didn’t work for me.

Currently using 1.03 offcial patch plus custom patch under windows 7.

Unless it works only for new save games… which I haven’t tried yet (I tried only with the savegame that was crashing previously).

Hm, the fix was for the 1.02 version, and for an older version of kitserver.

As far as I now, if a savegame is already corrupted, it cannot be fixed =(. I tried this fix with a completely new savegame each time.

hi there
i’m having the following problem. play a game in master league with pesedit patch or smoke patch. save game. when i”m loading the saved game, pes 2010 will crash with a microsoft visual c++ runtime error.

any ideea how to fix that ?

If you are using the latest PES Edit patch (1.5), you HAVE to execute the ML.exe located in “kitserver\docs\switch\” folder.

They probably had to hack some executables to allow for more space for the new teams, boots and such.
So, if you play the game normally and save, it will crash. As I said, you have to execute the .exe switcher.
